The I-Miss-Downton-Abbey Viewer Guide – Miz Booshay

Carly here!

I am a huge Downton Abbey fan and over here in the States the program has recently wrapped up until “JANUARY 2016.” I feel incredulous each year as the finale ends and the credits roll about the time between seasons. Perhaps absence makes the heart grow fonder. At any rate, there is very little television I enjoy like Downton, so you can imagine my relief when I ran across a blog post all about “what to watch” in the meantime. If there’s going to be nine months between seasons, then we might as well fill it with Downton-ish fare to hold us off until the real deal returns.

The Pioneer Woman’s contributor, Miz Booshay, offered up an array of options. I have seen about half of them, so I have plenty of other ones to look into while I wish away 2015 in anticipation of Downton’s next season. (And P.S. how many of you mistakenly referred to it as “Downtown Abbey” for the first episodes of the first season? Only me?)

The I-Miss-Downton-Abbey Viewer’s Guide

Downton Abbey comes and goes way too quickly for most of us, doesn’t it?

I have watched all of the following programs many times.
Some I like and most I love!
There are numerous variations of many of the movies…my favorites may not be your favorites.
Pick to one you love and add it to the list!
